*** Bunch of Bastards ***

We at Bunch of Bastards (BoB) think to drink from the same source of inspiration as our heroes The Pogues, Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys. BoB pay respect to them by playing some songs from these bands. BoB also pick the odd Irish trad song, not without spicing things up a bit though. And we take pride in adding our self-penned songs.

We cannot decide if our music is best described as energetic melody or as melodic energy. It's your call! We describe our sound as 'Full Force Folk': a half-Irish singer, banjo, mandoline, accordion and tin whistle, sometimes acoustic, more often on a solid folkpunk basis, with everything in between. At times sad, but mostly festive, as captured in the punchline of one of our newer songs: "Drink, Holler and Dance".

We at BoB have seen our fair share of line-up changes. We are happy to still be on friendly terms with formed bandbuddies Wouter, Cor, Peter, Huib and Wessel, who all contributed to where we are now.

We had the pleasure to play support in Holland for Ferocious Dog and Real McKenzies, we shared the stage with Dutch fellow-folkpunkers Royal Spuds, Circle J, LQR and Drunken Dolly and we shared the bill and the stage at international folkpunk festivals with the likes of Mr Irish Bastard (G.), Uncle Bastard and the Dirty Bastards (It.), Porters (G.), Paddy and the Rats (H.), Moorings (Fr.), Ceili Family (G.), Smokey Bastard (U.K.) and Fiddlers Green (G.).

*** The Burning Pubcrawlers ***

The Burning Pubcrawlers vormen een zes-koppige folk-punkband uit Nederland, ontstaan uit pure chaos en enthousiasme. Wat begon als een razendsnelle kennismaking tussen twee muzikanten met een gedeelde liefde voor Ierse folk en punk, mondde binnen een maand uit in een opwindende live-afdruk van rauw talent ([stpatricksdaydenhaag.nl ][1]).

Met hun energieke mix van catchy melodieën en meezingbare refreinen, geïnspireerd door iconen als Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly en The Rumjacks, brengt de band altijd vuur op het podium. Ze zijn berucht om hun achtergrond in andere projecten zoals Tunnelvisie, Pandora's Key en Den Purls ([Explore Breda][2]).

De live-ervaring van The Burning Pubcrawlers? Dat is een muzikale tornado waarbij elk optreden in vlammen opgaat - zowel muzikaal als figuratief. Lege pintglazen, dansende fans en een verslavende, feestelijke atmosfeer zijn hun handelsmerk .

Ze traden al op bij evenementen als St. Patrick's Day-feesten in Dordrecht en Den Haag, en fungeerden als opener bij The Real McKenzies in Breda op 10 augustus 2025 ([Explore Breda][2]). Overal laten ze een sterke indruk achter en bouwen ze gestaag aan een naam in de Nederlandse folk-punkscene.
