MONOWOLF is een verfrissend alt-rock duo uit Groningen met een DIY attitude en het motto "it takes two to tango". Met een omgebouwde gitaar neemt frontman Dirk Wolf zowel de bas, gitaar en zang op zich, en drummer Rens Bult maakt het geheel af met zijn strakke, knallende drums. MONOWOLF maakt catchy poprock waarvan je de refreinen zo mee kan zingen, maar ook stevige 90's rock waardoor de spijkers uit het podium trillen. Voor liefhebbers van Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers en Queens of the Stone Age, er zit er voor iedereen wat bij!

Afgelopen zomer bracht het duo hun eerste single "Coda" uit. MONOWOLF speelde eerder bij Warhol Live, Usva Live en in januari bij Buckshot Upstairs (ESNS). 3voor12 Groningen schreef het volgende over de ESNS show; "Het duo maakt gelijk duidelijk dat je met z'n tweeën niet minder herrie hoeft te maken en vullen de Buckshot gelijk met hun volle, verfrissende geluid. Dit duo gaan we zeker in de gaten houden!".
